Connecticut farmhouse respectfully renovated

The owners of this home recently downsized from two homes, while embarking on an update to this  1930's  home.  Their thoughtful renovation ensured places for their favorite furniture and art, while making room for new pieces as their tastes and lifestyles have changed.  The husband got a wonderful library, the wife got an open plan family room /kitchen, and they both have private offices.  Their dogs (and owners) got a very functional mudroom!
